Raymond and Merlin Sansom. |
Raymond and Merlin Sansom lived and worked in Wellington for more than 30 years, before deciding to build a house in the part of New Zealand they love best. They have two adult sons who have settled overseas. Patrick is a graduate of Glasgow, and lives in London. Roger graduated from North Carolina and now teaches at Texas A&M. Both are married and we have grand children to visit in both countries. |
| Raymond and Merlin have themselves travelled widely, and enjoy introducing other travellers to their part of the world. Raymond is a keen skier and climber and has climbed and trekked in Nepal, Alaska and The Yukon, Africa and Antarctica, as well as New Zealand. He can advise you on local walks and trails, as well as adventure experiences and other tourist options. Merlin's priority is to see that you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Her speciality is to spoil you with home baking and wonderful breakfasts. |

"BOODI" |
We have two standard poodles, Boodi (short for Boudicca) and Alice (the white one). Boodi is 6 years old and very gentle and friendly. Alice, our new addition, is full of character and fun. Both dogs enjoy our visitors, and are used to having their photos taken! |
